Photography

A photograph can catch a glimpse of our memories, and for this reason I enjoy crafting a story with each take I capture. Some shots, however, are the products of a random chance encounter and multiple takes within a small time frame.

I snapped this shot during my photography class section. Peter was an amazing model to work with, and the key light really underscores his enthusiasm in this shot.

One day my friends and I decided to dress up and take photos across the Stanford campus. Here, I took Isa's portrait shot using the fall leaves as a backdrop to the building's columns.

I was very lucky to stumble across this light setup at Stanford. During this week, prospective freshman were touring campus and there was a celebration for them at Old Union.

Given the prompt "Nature meets Man," I figured capturing a vine creeping across the concrete wall would satisfy the requirement. I'm also very pleased with the depth in this shot.

Across campus, there are these trees with numbered metal plates stapled onto their trunks. I found out these symbolize bodies donated to science, and the word hope immediately came to mind.
